The Ultra-Sonic Bark Stopper emits a piercing tone to which animals are sensitive. The distraction it creates breaks pets from annoying behaviors such as barking, jumping on furniture, chewing, eating garbage, and others.

The CUB-50 is very versatile. It can be used in the Automatic mode to curb barking when you are away, or it can be used manually when you catch your pet "in the act" of performing an unwanted behavior.

The CUB-50 operates on a 9-volt battery (included).

AUTOMATIC OPERATION
Use the unit in Automatic mode to stop barking when you are away from home or anytime you can’t be close enough to administer the correction manually. In the Automatic mode, the CUB-50 is triggered by the dog’s bark. The CUB-50 can be used indoors or out. If used outdoors, the unit should be kept as dry as possible. To be effective, the unit should be placed within 25 feet of the dog.

Sensitivity is set using the black knob. To turn the unit on, turn the knob clockwise. The unit will sound a tone, indicating it is on. Turning the knob further clockwise increases the sensitivity, turning it counter-clockwise decreases the sensitivity. Experiment with the unit at different distances until you find the combination of sensitivity and distance that best matches the loudness of your dog’s bark. Remember to turn the unit off when it is not in use.

MANUAL OPERATION

To operate, simply hold the unit with the speaker facing away from you and press the button. To use for training, wait for you pet to perform the unwanted behavior. Point the unit at the pet and hold the red button down continuously until your pet stops the behavior.
